These are similar to the standard Take-Up Units, except they provide longer sleeves. Long sleeve Take-Up Units provide up to 36" of travel. These units are usually counter-weighted, rather than spring operated.

These units are usually counter-weighted, rather than spring operated. Long Sleeve Take-Ups are used in systems where variations in temperature cause excessive expansion and contraction in the chain. These units are also recommended for systems with multiple drives. A take-up unit is required on all E-Trac Lite systems.
