X-348 Caterpillar Drive Chains
We offer two types of caterpillar drive chains: (Standard) and D-type chain link (Heavy-duty). The chain assembly is constructed using Cotter Pins. The cotter pins allows the ease of replacing the chain links or chain dog by themselves.
Standard style cat chains work fine in most
applications. The disadvantage to a Standard style cat chain is that it
can flex backwards in higher chain pull applications, which results in
premature wear on the pressure rollers. Our upgraded “D-Style”
Caterpillar Drive Chain prevents the backward flexing motion. This
upgraded D-style design will provide a much longer life of the rollers.
These chains come boxed in 10 ft. lengths and priced per box.
